Donna Lane
Stakeholder Affairs Representative / Uptown Corridor

Donna LaneDonna believes in working for the greater good. "I've worked on various strategic initiatives, each dedicated to the enrichment of life in the Houston region," says Donna. This includes her tenure with the Center for Houston's Future, an affiliate of the Greater Houston Partnership, where she coordinated the successful Leadership Forums. A recurring theme of discussion at these workshops was the need for improved transit options. "I believe that mobility is one of our most fundamental civic issues, and I feel fortunate to now be a part of this exciting challenge."

"As the Stakeholder Affairs Representative for Uptown, I am your personal liaison with METRO. I am here to answer your questions and help resolve any concerns you may have. I believe it's important to develop successful relationships so we can work together to make Houston even better than it already is."

Originally from Philadelphia, Donna says, "I grew up riding the train, so public transportation is in my blood. I probably took it for granted back then, but now I know how vital it is for the strength of a community."

"The bottom line is, transportation is a social issue, an economic issue, and it is about our legacy as responsible citizens."
