MSN plugs METRO Solutions MSN, Microsoft's Internet Service Provider, features a slideshow about air quality and what Houston and other cities are doing to get greener. Case in point
Besides the soon-to-be-started construction of the new rapid transit lines, METRO helps Houston be greener in other ways. METRO's bike team joined Mayor Bill White this morning in the City of Houston's Bike-to-Work event. METRO is a co-sponsor of this and other National Bike Month activities in our city. In addition, METRO continues installing bike racks on its local route bus fleet, which includes 40 newly acquired hybrid buses. Read more about METRO's Green Drive. Day in court Earlier this week (Wednesday, May 16) Judge Levi Benton, of the 215th Judicial District Court, heard arguments from both sides in the legal action taken against the Agency concerning METRO Solutions and the 2003 Referendum.
