Mission: Creating Sustainable Communities
The Communities in Motion program is the METRO Solutions approach to addressing community issues and concerns surrounding the development of light-rail transit in Houston. The Communities in Motion program will help you achieve the changes that you want for your family, your future and your Houston, while METRO implements the regional transportation plan.
METRO's goal is to provide information that connects you with resources and tools so that you may realize the benefits that METRO's multi-billion investment can bring to your community.
Here is YOUR call to action! METRO needs your participation and feedback. We're ready to assist in empowering you to support your neighborhoods' unique character and to create strong light-rail corridors.
Please help us further define the tools that will be most beneficial for your neighborhood's future! Contact your local corridor office with your suggestions and comments. A METRO Solutions Representative is available to assist you today!
