About Burnett Plaza (Intermodal Terminal)

The Burnett Plaza, formally known as the Intermodal Terminal, is conceived as a multi-modal transportation facility within a larger multi-use development. The facility would include multiple modes of transportation, such as light rail, bus services, car pool, bicycle and pedestrian.

The Burnett Plaza project is blended with mixed-use development along with connections to various transit modes, and it is currently being re-evaluated due to the down turn in the development market. In order to keep the North Light Rail Line on schedule, the transit components related to the North Line have been separated from the mixed-use development so that the schedule of the North Line is not impacted.

The Burnett Station (part of North Corridor) located at the Burnett Plaza, will include the LRT platforms, horizontal and vertical circulation, four bus bay transit facilities, a "kiss & ride," and some street and utility work required to accommodate the Burnett Station. The Burnett Station is strategically situated in order to facilitate the master plan of the Burnett Plaza.
